Yeah 90s. You RoCk!

One thing for sure is that I cannot live without music. I practically write the diary of my life in accordance to music. In each and every memory in my life, there's sort of like a theme song to every event. I always get stares when i sing almost every song that is played. How do you even know the lyrics?? T.T Yeah, I get that a lot.

So today I would like to elaborate my past according to music in the 90s. Haha. Than in 10 years when I read this, I'll go oww I remember that song and start singing it.

Why this song is stuck in my life since the last decade is because I used to go on night rides with my dad and this song will play on the radio/cassette. It went that long, yeap since my dad was still alive. I rarely stepped into kindergarten at that time. Below 5 I guess...

Another song that reminded me of him so much is Daddy cool by Bonny M. Another epic night ride with my dad and we just bought a new strawberry perfume for the car =)

As i entered primary school, we used to have frequent trips to Damai for the weekends because my mum has to work the night shift. A >1 hour ride to Damai at that time was a killing spree for a child like me. Beside playing adding up plate numbers and extracting them or doing comparisons like long, longer, longest, we used to listen to Easter King who is a Gospel singer.

And the four of us would never ever forget our Jungle Jamboree cassette.

Good stuff for kids. I was also a big fan of the show Kidsongs. yeay!!
we are the kid songs. tapping our feet. Soon everybodys gonna move to the beat.

It was than 1997.

The next year, Titanic was made famous.
I can even play my recorder to My heart will go on. 

And of course we can't forget the list of boy and girl bands. =)

Spice Girls

Too much Girl Power. We could even do the hand clap in their Stop video.
No girl is complete without  going crazy about Spice Girls and picking out who to be who.

Backstreet Boys
Every Christmas favorite during the 90s. Even now, we try to get the excitement of those times. We still play BSB during Christmas. That's how much it impacted our life.
We even sing it together on Sykpe. Hahaa..

Another family favorite among us cousins. Which made it our theme boy band (is there such thing?) during our school holidays in the year 1998.
Though a boyband, they made quite a number of really good songs about life.
Like how I listen to Keep on moving at times when I'm down.

I know it's not much but it's ok

Someone lied to me saying that they we coming to Kuching for a private function.
I still remember ok!! Ngaku NOW!! hahaa..
Sweet and charming 4 man band. Like a rose was a big hit.
My favorite was Ready or not because the video was super cute.

Don't say you don't know 98° if you know who Jessica Simpson is. Pfft~~
Also one I used to listen to on the way home from school in the Merc. (I remembered it that specifically)
Someone hid her sisters Alanis Morrisette cassete and another person was a chirping bird, told the bad tale so the person who hid the cassette got smacked in the head.

One video clip of Aqua that scared me was We belong to the sea, when the bald guy became a goldfish.
I was damn frightened of that video.
And of course thinking of Aqua makes people think of their famous hit Barbie Girl.

Wild Orchid
Although Talk to me was a one hit wonder, try guessing whose strong voice it was behind the song.
Yes it was Miss Fergalicious. Fergie was a member of the 3 part Wild Orchid.
They were not that famous in the 90s.
But I still remember their song as I entered my aunty's car after school in the hot Malaysian weather.

Atomic Kitten
They had a video clip running in a hamster ball.
And why would a child sing (naive much)

Obviously Kerry got it good from Bryan Westlife. T.T
And got pregnant with Bryan McFadden's child. I was furious and did not like Atomic Kitten After that. Because I was in love with Bryan McFadden. =P

Obviously I need not say much bout Westlife and NSYNC. =D

A lot became one hit wonders of the 90s.

But none can beat Backstreet Boys, 5ive, Spice Girls, Westlife and N'SYNC.
Not even Justin Bieber!!
