Eyes

Spring has been great. Really great. We had lots of things to do and new activities to try out.
Everybody seems to be into it. Especially into..

Sunglasses.

This amazing tinted creation makes everyone crave for it in the sunny weather. Lots of designs that will make you look how you actually want to look. Weather you are near or far sighted. Anything is possible for you to grab one. And you have many reasons to. Different cuttings and edges to fit your face structure and so on.

And that's the reason that today I had to wait in line to get my own pair of Shades in town. Yes I had to wait in line to claim my Shades which I ordered last week. The Shop was full and the line was up to the entrance. To think about it, we never had to line up or actually have the mind to buy sunglasses in Malaysia. All we know is that we try hard to get away from those skin biting rays which make us sweat like we are working fields. But anyway, its different here. So I had my Shades here. =D

Since some people ask me to upload photos, so I will. This is how Spring is.

A lil picnic at the hill behind the student hostel.

Last weekend we had a barbecue in my kitchen
Yummy bbq-ed chicken, meat and not forgetting lamb ribs

Tinted sights in town
Look how blue the sky is! cloudless!

And.. this is how my hostel looks like at this time of the year
Lastly, a picture that mummy would love

Signing off with lots of love, Reeyau

The Greatest Love of All

Let me introduce you to a guy I have known my whole life. He's the greatest guy ever and what made Him ever greater is that He died for love. The only adjective i strongly can describe about Him is His love for people like me. I confess that I'm a sinner. A sinner that does not deserve to even know anyone that Holy. But though I'm a sinner, He still loves me and guess what? No great lover could die for you, but amazingly He did even before I got to know Him.

His Name is Jesus Christ.

The Son of God born sinless and pure, yet He was tortured to death, bearing mockery, insult and betrayal. He died the worst way anyone could die. A sinless man put between unholy ones.

Could this be real? If you believe. That's why I love Him.

And that event more than 2000 years ago made this day much more important than Christmas. It marks the day of salvation and victory to those who believe.

Jesus was crucified on the cross so that we are cleansed from our sins. It was not His will but by the will of God to save us and give us eternal life.

Before His death
Jesus Prays for Himself, His Disciples and for all Believers. He was then arrested by Jewish officials. Questioned by the High Priest. Brought before Pilate. The crowd chose Barnabas the murderer to be released over Jesus. Jesus sentenced to be Crucified. The crucifixion.

The death of Jesus.
He said "It is finished", with that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

On the third day
The tomb of Jesus was found empty. He is risen!

And this is why Easter is celebrated. Its not about Easter eggs or bunnies. Those marketing gimmicks pushes us away from the real meaning of this faithful day. It about His miraculous Resurrection.

All this was not done spontaneously or was a joke. It was already written since before Jesus was born. That one day the son of God will die for the sins of his believers. A love so great that God send His son to die for us, so that we might not perish but have eternal life.

The greatest Gift for sinners like us. We are the reason why Jesus died on the cross.

All for LOVE.

Have a blessed Easter

Out.. Now!!

Out out!! that's the only thing that runs through my head every evening. I'll open my windows so wide because I cant stand to be kept in my room. Its like I'm sitting in a Tupperware.

I need air! Fresh air that smells so good despite the smell of fertilizer that is fed to the hungry fields in the beginning of spring. No matter what it smells like, I still love the outdoors due to my love for the crisp 18degrees sunny air.

I walk, I play, I watch people as they watch me. Shirtless under the sunshine, sunbathing while drinking beer and playing Frisbee. Everyone seems to be out having a great time. The evening air is filled with the smell of BBQ grills and charcoal. Nothing seems to matter these days and everyone is all smiles. Good things come in small packages and effects people wholly.

I am back from having a small picnic from the hill behind the students hostel. It feels good just to let go and enjoy the beauty of what God created. Its that simple.

I'm soo enjoying myself here. XD

Spring! Spring!!

I feel like shouting "Spring is here!! Spring is here!!" every time i indulge in the outdoors. Its so great that Spring is already here throwing the dread winter cold behind pushing the crisp cold to down under Australia. But then it wont be that cold out there. There's no need for freezing and shivering, cry in the cold.

So since the weather is soo good here, I'm changing the layout of my blog to represent the happy feelings outside.

Flowers starts blooming and every skinny tree turns fluffy green with leaves. I myself feel like eating those fresh looking green grass that looks so .... hmm, I don't know what adjective to give them. But well, I'm just glad that Spring is here. I won't have to wear layers of clothing anymore and it feels good to feel the radiance of the sun. The sun shines so bright everyday that people start to wear shades. I want one to. But since as all of us know, the kegawaten economy crisis, Mara will not let me buy my cool shades. Ah well, at least I'm not starving.

As the weather gets better, I start to miss home more. The wind reminds me of getting out of the river. And it makes me miss home more!! I'll just have to wait, and wait, till I'm home..

Mummy, Changi I miss you!! =(

Love from Spring, Reeyau.

Lets Talk About It

So now, lets talk about the hot topic of the season.

Marriage

A cool breezy spring afternoon, everyone clad in their best. The groom handsomely stands waiting and a bride so beautiful gracefully approaching. As the little cute flower girl sprinkles petals of sweet smelling roses and the music fills the air, a fairytale of the century. Now the crowd turns in a slow motion to watch the entrance of the best thing that day. Smiles that no one could forget and tears would fill that happy day indeed.

As the big neverending bright sky smiles to you and your partner, no one in love would ever think that the world would one day turn its shoulders towards them. All promises are promised, and the birds seems to feel what you felt as if there is no tomorrow where you would have to dread getting up in the morning and fight the hectic of life filled with payments and taxes and bills that are piling up. No, you're still in fantasy.

It always amazes me what us female species would do to get our fairytale ending. To torture ourselves for the male species when actually you still look simply the same to them. How we yearn so much for beauty attraction that sometimes it makes us look like bimbos. At the end of the day, when we walk down to get our fairytale ending, the prince charming smiles and crosses his fingers while saying his vows to us. For some of us, "Till death do us part" are engraved on our souls but for most of us, we become victims of two faced hypocrits.

The thing is that the modern world does not tolerate the word "loyal". No one especially the male species sees that it is that important to do so. Once you're used, then you're a used car. Your engine squeaks and runs less smoothly. Its like having a car which all men can adapt to. A 20 year old car is old enough to be trash. Well, lets buy a new car, the more money i have, the better. Than I can afford a classier brand new smooth ride. Translate that in human value, a man with more blings will always get better chicks no matter how old they are. Than what happens to the old 20 year relationship he had with the old one? Well, it'll always be there in emergency cases no matter how awful you find it to be.

Soon enough, that fairytale picture from your walt disney story will be ripped off the wall, you'll be screaming at your children dreading to see their faces especially if it so resembles the one you love. You'll get bitter and depressed the only thing that would come you down is popping those amazing pills that are prescribed. Now what happens to that fairytale you had? Was it neverending?

By that time when you're so off your mind watching his new ride, your children searches for a house that is really a home. For the worst case scenarios, thats where we get people who run the streets and poke needles under bridges. Everything goes messy and there is no where out of this dreadful jungle of the real human life.

But a respect goes to those one parent household women that does'nt need the pity of people around them. That work their asses of no matter what people say they are. It's not easy I can say. They have little but offer so much to people around them. A fight like the survival of the feotus, only to do whats best for the future. To make sure that theres enough food, money for the bills and taxes, not forgetting the car and what not. Its not them that need the pity, the the one that left them for so pathedicly greedily craving for extra like they can't live without it. its the simple truth.

I may say this like i'm exagerating but in this world, there are some that could feel whats real in those statements. Some who have grown up going through it would know how it feels to watch a father holding his child with love that they never had before. So try to look around, take time to put yourself in another persons shoe and feel whats it like to go through such things that you can't escape in life. Fairytales are'nt reality so just wake up from it because after your fairytale wedding, headhunters and serial killers are lurking at your front door waiting to devour you. A marriage is much more important than a wedding.

So girls please do search your best for the best. One where loyalty is not just a verb but an action.

She turns 48

Time may pass soo fast for her, as today my mother turns 48. Her age clearly shows that both her little girls are'nt little anymore. But I always will be her little girl internally. It sucks soo much for both me and Changi that we could not be with you to celebrate this day.. its not like you wanna acknowledge yourself growing old anyway rite?

This is the third year I'm not there to be with you to celebrate your birthday. Well, I'm going to be alone on mine to. Its a big number this year. But Mummy, to me you're always young! How I wish i'm by your side. The distance across the seas are too large but none can even measure the love you have gave us, not forgetting the people you have blessed around you.

Through technology, the only thing I can give is virtual gifts in Facebook. haha. see, my mum is not lame. But to think about it again, Gods greatest gift to you was us right? =D Like you always said two lovely daughters. See, we can't live without you and vice versa. Changi would have made this more funny but because its me, it's less provoking and laughing. I'm just not talented in that area.

*that's Superwoman in the middle*
Mummy I just want to say that..

actually i want to go home (haha jk!)

I love you so much and I really thank God for a great mother like you coz I know that no one has you as their mother, but I'm willing to share you because I know how great of a mother you are. So on this day that you turned 48, I know you have pampered yourself much without the presence of the both of us, I really wish you a great 48th year of your life. Much, much more will be in store for a great creation like you. May Gods blessing pour abundantly on you.

with lots of love from a precious daughter who can't and would'nt be living wihout you, like me.

Reeyau
*muah * muah * muah* kiss kiss mummy, I love you!

Don't Know Don't Care, As Long As You Take Me There

a lyric, a song sang... a great theme for a day i've looked so much foward to.

27th February 2009
this date marks the Oasis Europe Tour in Zenith Kulturhalle in Muenchen.

But before i was taken there

a great series of events happend

Warnstreik im oeffentlichen Nahverkehr
Seit dem Morgen stehen in mehreren bayerischen Städten die Räder still - 24 Stunden lang. Private Busunternehmen sollen Teile des Linienverkehrs übernehmen.

I'll translate what this is about.
On this day, all public transport in major cities and its little little surroundings including my peaceful place of Landshut goes on strike.

Yes a STRIKE!! read it loud and clear.

So due to this eventful event to "memberontak" against not being paid their monthly pay or something like that. Please take note that public transport play a big role in European countries.

so this is what happened. All busses, subways and trams do not move!! ARGHH!!

From my stuwo, we waited for more than hour and there was no sign of a single bus. With a heart full of determination we still waited. despise the cold rain and melting snow on our feet. My toes feels like falling off! Shot our shopping schedule. Arrived at Muenchen.

We had our dinner and struggled our ass to getting to Zenith. So according to the website to get to Zenith, it was clearly that easy. Take a Subway a walk 700m. How easy was that??

But to our ignorance of the world, i went to the info counter and asked how to get there. the man said, take the no40 bus to the Freiheit than from there, take a cab to the hall. Than i asked, cant i take the trains?? his answer was simple. No Subway there today. But you know what? Stubborness. We searched our way to take the trains. Overshot a few places cos i wrongly read the map in the train. Lileinthalalle is soo not the same as Lilienthalstrasse. With the help of technology, how i want to scream great thankfullness to brains that created GPS and phones that have it. So the scene was like in those chick flicks where everyone starts going busy on their cells.

Jumped a few stops and struggled to get a Subway to the Freiheit. A bang in the head, all subways were red taped. We stood around to figure out what went wrong. Then Manjong read someones paper next to us. All Subways on strike for 24 hours. We were like WTF???

Got on to the main road, searched for taxis. We stood at a taxi stand ok.. but there were more than empty cabs that did not stop for us. Screaming and wailing, finally there was one. We got on. than tada... the road was jam. Like arghh!! why?? why??? We arrived comfortably before everything started. Lined for the hall, lost Ali n Manjong right after the security tore my tickets. Patience! But wth, for me, it was the rest rooms!! Im just so gleefully glad that im here.

Of course there was the merchandise booth that we had to grab something.

Man, I'm here to watch OASIS LIVE!!
SO i struggled my way through all the big people. Why are we asians so small?? Most of the crowd we already half drunk. And i was standing behind a couple which looked like someones parents. Than out of no where, cam two German fellow and stood right in front of us. i just strared at their backs. They were huge ok. Then the guy turned to me and smirk at his friend. Then he said to me, "I'll carry you later coz u can't see any thing. I promise". Heck man, you're drunk. haha.

After the opening act, Oasis finally made an entry at 2100hrs. Fell the vibe. Its Oasis!

So as usual, the pusshing, jumping, much cigarette smoke and free flying beer which rained us. But who cares right??

*opening act*

*yes, its Liam Gallagher*

So after the screaming and shouting, nothing beats a glass of thirst quenching beer.
(don't miss the shirt =D)

And also a few photos
What a night right? It did not end there.

Tired and worn out, there was no cab to take us back to the train station. So we had to walk down to the main road and the road was like the road back to GMI Bangi. Apa pun, jalan lah.

We tried to catch cabs but there was none that would stop for us. Almost nearing the flyover, we saw cabs and started running and screaming for one. Much of luck, more of carut-carutan.
Endlich, a cab that took us to the train station but the next train back to Landshut is at 0500hrs. So much for a day for Oasis.

This was our hub for the next 5 hours.

*Deutsche Bahn Lounge*

But this was all that mattered
All smiles for me!! Alles super!

A lil something for those who wished that they were there

Holiday Update I

Have been madly busy but gladly happy lately. Winter Break gave me much fun. I've been a handful of things, sharpening skills and just simply having fun.

I became a hairdresser.

Snipping and trimming and not forgetting ironing.
Man, Guys these days. Even I myself never let a straightening touch my hair. But for the save of making my friends even much more good looking, I crossed my fingers tight and went on cutting hoping for the best. 3 products. Not bad after all. i haven't vacuumed my room since a week ago. if a murder is done here, we will never know who did it!

thats mr straightening

I celebrated Birthdays

Not forgetting making Birthday cakes and meals

*Baked Brownies Cheesecake*

*Naqeeb turned 20 on the 9th of Feb*

i am on holiday

a week, 7 days.. still counting.

welcome to winter break 2009. theres never been a winter break for me. a whole list is planned out and i never know what and which could be achieved. its always the same. when you make a list of to dos before holiday starts. and after 4 to 5 weeks, not more than half is done. so for this break, im gonna make myself useful instead of useless.

i cant deny that ill wake up at 11am. at least ill spare the tension of people screaming at me to wake up. wait, theres still lunch to fill my stomach. the clock ticks fast when im taking my bath. then theres hair drying, boiling water, and making my hot cup of honey. open the kitchen door to take a peek of whats in the fridge. after having no idea what to eat, ill make myself a bowl of salad. then ill look out to see what the first room on the 2nd floor of the next block is doing. and the question on the phone will be "wan, ang wat pa?"

improve improve i tell myself. make this holiday a great one. the last few days was really good. ill post later on wad has been goin on in this little purple themed room of mine. one thing for sure is Landshut is fully booked for the holidays.
